December was different. Not just because of the holidays or the freezing cold. But because more people joined this community than ever before. More bracelets. More necklaces. More bowls filled.
As the temperatures plummeted, the urgency of our mission skyrocketed. We knew that the animals relying on our feeding stations were entirely dependent on us to survive the freezing nights. The response from the Rescue Tails family was nothing short of miraculous.
Because so many of you chose to gift Rescue Tails jewelry for the holidays, we were able to purchase pallets of high-protein food in bulk. Our vans were loaded to the brim, and our volunteers worked overtime to ensure that no feeding station was left empty.
The holidays are a time for giving, but true generosity is extending that spirit to the forgotten and the voiceless. You gave the ultimate gift to these animals: survival, warmth, and the knowledge that someone out there cares enough to provide for them.
